Broccoli stew with broccoli sprouts

Are you crazy about the stew season? The broccoli stew is a mild stew that will go down well with young and old. This stew is
with vegetarian bacon. With cheese it can also be a delicious combination.

Ingredients

for 4 persons

1 kg crumbly potatoes
750 gr broccoli
handful of broccoli sprouts
vegetarian bacon
100 ml (vegetable) milk
2 tbsp butter (vegetable)
1tl nutmeg
1 tsp mustard
1/2tl pepper

Preparation
Peel the potatoes and cut them into quarters. Boil the potatoes for
for about 10 minutes in plenty of boiling water. Meanwhile, cut the broccoli into small florets. You can also take some of the stems with you. Add the broccoli to the potatoes and cook for about 10 minutes. Make sure that there is enough water in the pan so that everything cooks along with the potatoes. Add the milk, butter and mustard to the potatoes and broccoli. You can also add the pepper, nutmeg and mustard. It is time to mash everything, this can be done until it is a coarse mash or an even mass. It is your own preference. The stew is ready to serve! Serve the bacon separately or sprinkle it on top and garnish the stew with a handful of broccoli sprouts.
