Flamkuchen with leek sprouts

Ain't no party like a plate pizza party! This culinary feast originated in Alsace, but in 2021 the traditional recipe is fully vegan. Topped with our leek sprouts, the party is on! begin. Or, as they would say in Alsace: que la fête commence!

for 2-4 persons

Leek sprouts
1 roll of flammkuchen dough
200 grams vegan 'cream cheese
oat fraîche or oat spread
Pinch of freshly ground pepper
100 grams of vegan bacon
1 large red onion, in thin rings

Preheat the oven to 220 degrees. Roll out the dough on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. If necessary, knead it into a nice shape, but that is not necessary. Mix the vegan cream cheese or
Oat fraîche with the freshly ground pepper. Spread over the dough. Top with the vegan bacon and red onion. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes until crisp in the bottom of the oven. Serve the flammkuchen with leek sprouts.

They look very similar to garlic sprouts, but the difference is in the taste. The leek sprouts are unique because of their recognisable taste; onion. They are also very rich in vitamins B2, B3, B5, B6, K and folic acid.
