Smoothiebowl with beetroot sprouts

This smoothiebowl is not only a beautiful picture, but also a healthy, fresh-sweet treat! The banana, coconut and of course the
Red beetroot sprouts give this bite a tropical touch. Start your day off healthy with this fresh-sweet, bright pink party bowl.

Ingredients

for 4 persons

200 millilitres vegetable drink
optionally
5 frozen bananas in pieces
200 grams frozen raspberries
50 grams of beetroot sprouts (keep
possibly some tufts separate for the topping)
For the topping:
Fresh fruit, such as raspberries, strawberries and blueberries
Coconut chips, coquitos (mini coconuts) or coconut grater of choice Red beet sprouts

Preparation
Add all ingredients to a food processor
or blender. Puree until smooth and thick.
If you do not have such a powerful food processor
or blender, you could still have some
extra vegetable drink or variation on
yoghurt.
Divide between four bowls and serve
with your favourite toppings.

This beautiful red coloured sprout is often used in restaurants as decoration because of its appearance. The beetroot sprouts have a slight earthy flavour. Moreover, they are rich in folic acid and vitamin K and a source of vitamin E.
